Our senior squad also trains alongside our J16 group and members graduating from the J14 and J15s will move into these squads. From J16 (year 11 or fifth form) rowers will be expected to attend 5+ sessions a week including developing their strength and fitness ability via land gym and fitness sessions. This includes through strength and conditioning coaching and regular testing of their fitness and endurance.
Rowers from these groups will attend local and national based competitions including the National Schools Regatta, the Henley regatta’s and often the British Junior Championships.
